A crystal clear canvas…
So, this weekend was rather interesting… I went out for the first time in what felt like an entire season. I walked through a blizzard all the way downtown and back through the creek. The snow was knee deep, the creek was lazy… it was absolutely awesome. And when I got home my feet were dry. Amen for Combat Mary Janes and Pashmina.
Yesterday I spent the day shut in my house living in it. I was supposed to go to the creek with Emma, but I decided to take a nap instead.
It’s been very fun and distracting producing the news segments as opposed to the episodes. Somehow I’m now better able to see a distinction between performer and human being, and that’s helping. I’ve begun counseling and am due for another session this week…lol… let’s hear the professionals chime in on this one.
I’m supposed to be writing the news right now, but I really don’t feel like it. It’s more formulaic than I like to fly… Although I’m working on ways around it. Part of the reason I like doing the news is BECAUSE it’s formulaic, it’s easy…lol.
The episodic stuff is harder. We’ll be wrapping it up shortly with back to back releases of Episodes 13 and 14. They happened a while ago, we’ve just been waiting for a miracle.
And who knows, maybe that miracle is still coming, we just don’t know about it yet. I know I’m prepped, excited, and ready to start production on another season. I’ve already told you I’ve booked Caution Inc. for episode 1, and we’ll be examining working relationships… should be fun.
We will be releasing season II on DVD shortly, as well as making copies of particular shows available… as soon as the artists involved bother to get back to us that is.
