I’m heading into the big smoke today, that’s right, I’ll be heading right into the machine city, that tainted gooey old smelly smoke…. well, kinda.
I’m actually looking forward to getting downtown again, it’s been like forever, and I haven’t seen her in daylight for some time either. It’ll be nice to step out of Union and have the glass all shining the sun back in my face. Better bring my glasses.
I’m actually not even gonna spend more than that moment there cause I have an appointment with a producer in High Park. Swanky eh? He’s putting together a really neat project with more flare than I’ve seen from a show in some time. Got used to the old hum drum Webber formula and voila… the british have taken over the world… I wonder what would happen if the Romans took it over again? I can’t wait to see this on a stage….

Aside from that I’m having Timmy’s in the park with my good friend Charlie. I met Charlie on the set of Love Guru last fall (or was that two falls ago? Time… is a bitch…). He actually reminded me of someone else, and that’s how I introduced myself. Charlie’s one of the sweetest gentlest men I’ve ever met… and the park we’re going to is my favorite one in downtown Toronto… right in front of the Hummingbird on Front, and always interesting people and things to watch…
I’m glad the sun is out today….
