Poor Tiger. I know you’re all prolly fed up of hearing about him this week, but I can’t help but feel a great deal of compassion for this man. I’m not a real big golf fan, but you’d have to have been living under a rock not to know Tiger. Now that we’ve travelled into his woods…
Just look at him. He’s not only talented, he’s bloody beautiful. Like a platapus gone right. He lights up when he smiles, his eyes are about a thousand watts, and his talent apparently so focused as to deliver results consistenly over time… tried, tested.
True?
Along comes Tiger with a baby carriage, and the man starts to feel trapped. He carried out all the steps… build a succeessful career (check) marry beautiful intelligent woman (check) procreate (check)… all he has left to do now is die.
I’d get bored too.
In a world where men hold the power and the purse strings, how is it that these women have managed to unleash such a storm in this one man’s life?
So, player extraordinaire is now exposed for a cheat. Ha. Tiger Woods cheats.
If Tiger Woods was really bigger than any other man, he’d have had the discussion with his wife that went along these lines:
“Honey, I know you’re tired from being pregnant, and having a baby, and that you’re probably not interested (or motivated) to fulfill my sexual needs right now. If it’s ok, can I take care of that someplace else? You can meet her if you want, but I do wish you’d trust my judgement that it’s better if you don’t. Don’t worry, I’m coming home to you.”
Even Kings were permitted (and expected to have) mistresses. Do you have any idea what kind of tension a man encounters trying to run a country? or win tournament after tournament?
See, then we’d have none of this would we? and then what would the papers print? Of course, who would these hussies talk to? I mean really, shame on those ladies for crawling out of the woodwork. Wasn’t the notch in your bedpost enough?
I admire the way he’s handled his affairs in the ensuing public debacle, which god love them, must be hell on their psyches (Tiger, and his pretty wife). I wish them well, I hope they re-establish their balance, and find a way to move forward together for their family.
After all, that is what its about, FAMILY. Building solid structures of common interest to sustain the future of our ideals. Then perhaps one day we will be able to reach those ideals… and finally live up to them.
