Oh boy I’m good at writing, but lazy as hell.
Most fun had this week? Politicking… oh what a relief it is to be
able to step out in public and be myself again. I’m being asked in
many places if I’ll put my name back in the bucket. For those of you
who missed it, I withdrew my candidacy in late March cause I needed my
$100 deposit back.
So now onwards and upwards, I’ve picked up my pen again, and will be
writing in the name of politics again. Expressing my opinions on how
things are done, and lobbying for how they should be. Enlisting
support. Building teams… crushing the opposition.
I’m glad I’m not in the running, and I won’t be returning. Actually,
to my mind, I never left, I’m just playing a different position. Maybe
signing up officially was my way of telling them “Hey, you, I have the
balls to play your game.”
I’ve been a counselor for some time. Dunno need your cushioned seat
under my ass to prove it to myself, and lo…. others. The list of
people coming to me for advice is growing daily.
Speaking of cushioned seats under my ass… I’ll be dancing in and
around Oshawa Ontario this fall, so now you all have something to look
forward to on this rainy sunday afternoon…
