I guess that’s what I’ve been up to these days. Hard to get back into
the writing game after such a prolonged absence (I’ve been in
communications hell since being without a permanent address). All my
stuff is in storage, I have limited little resources, and I don’t feel
lighter at all… I feel much heavier.
Although I’ve been extremely constrained, I am still managing to make
progress towards all my goals, including finding work. I had a first
reading for a role on an HBO production yesterday, and that makes me
happy. Especially that as I arrived at the casting studio, there was
teh 3Tards van parked just outside. I turned the corner and bam, one
blue chevy with “Cannibal Corpse” across the front windshield. There
aren’t two of those. Talk about your personal omens…
We’ve put in applications for two houses we’re actually fond of, so
we’ll see how that turns out too. I hope something tips soon, I don’t
know how much more living in such a small space I can do. Five people
and a cat in two double beds in a room just big enough to fit them and
a beer fridge (and only basic cable) and you have a recipe for losing
your mind. You’ve never LIVED until you’ve slept next to your seven
year old (who took enough time out of his peaceful slumber to turn
around and beat the shit out of me every five minutes), and if I have
to watch another episode of What not to wear I’m going to go insane.
I’ve started taking on Stacey London-isms and no offense, but I DO NOT
want to go there.
And that’s about it… alot of things on hold right now because the
camera charger is lost in the fray, all our equipment is in storage,
and well, we’re in between places….
I hope we see the end of this phase of transition soon… I’m anxious
to move onto the next one…
Will we find a house for everyone?
Will we finally find paying work?
Will I re-enter the political arena?
Will I finally get Season III of Anterockstar out the door so I can
move onto production for Shwatarded – Part deux?
