I’m gonna..

write this one like a case study, so those of you who are bored by
business type jargon might wanna skip the next paragraph or two.

Since man discovered he could socialize in a meaningful manner from
the comfort of his chair (star trek) he set about creating that world
around him. Thanks to advances in computing, we now are able to shop
online for anything we want, including a mate! imagine… preselecting
someone based on compatibility!

Then of course you extend that socialization and apply it to other
creative purposes… research, discovery, and you have a whole new
world you’ve just created… there to discover!

Ontario, yours to discover.

Hiding in Oshawa, Ontario, there is a diamond mine.

So back to mans pursuit of life in an easy chair…

You’re never going to overcome that. Man’s innate desire to sit and
watch the grass grow.

Although, to his credit, man works damned hard for that privilege. I
mean, again, watch star trek, how many asses did Kirk have to kick
before he got to catch a glimpse of yoeman Rand?

Anyways…. back to my business case.

I have no clue as to why a corporation would not share it’s resources
in this economic climate. I cannot understand the Corporate mentality
of “hoarding”, and I really really can’t understand why people out
there don’t see their websites as their very own bullhorns. Doesn’t
ANYONE out there have something to say aside from reporting financial
results?

It makes no logical, fiscal, political or business sense.

I suggest that the people who brought us this climate are not the ones
who will get us out of it.

I suggest that the people who can get us out of it, don’t know who they are.

I suggest I do.

I suggest I’m hoarding.
