So, I just finished viewing the Colin Carrie piece. I’m never sure when we film what I’m going to get away with, and I’m never sure how vehemently I will try and come across. I have been hating my work for some time now (when the muse leaves, she just up and leaves man….) but now I think she might be back. There’s a few sparks in my eye in that there footage.
So, I’ve watched the piece, and although I didn’t get the time I would have wanted to have… I mean, these are extensive discussion type of things, not really on the spot on the street type of things you can take care of. But that’s not necessarily what I was after anyways… what I was after most was getting a sense of Colin Carrie the human being, the man… take away the rhetoric. I have nothing against this man.
I get a good sense from Dr. Carrie, and I sense no ill intention, or even lack of empathy. He’s a good man. Is he the best man for the job?
Well, he’s got an impressive resume, his list of accomplishments seems to be growing, his profile is rising (and ours along with it I might add), my dad trusts him, I trust him… and he’s got the job already.
Oh… and the man can make and KEEP eyecontact.
I’m still lookin for a moment with Wil McGuirk to finish up this Shwaltz moment… but it’s coming…

And speaking of seeing eye to eye… my Daughter Frances will be making her debut as her very own segment producer on Anterockstar. She’ll be covering the debut of Aces77 at The Kathedral tonite….
I can’t wait to see what she comes back with :)
