Welcome to my nightmare

I’ve come to the point, my fairweather friends
where I’m afraid, I must tie up loose ends
and let go the things, that rot in my brain
the large mass of cancer, the telltale blood stain

come in, pull a chair, no need for unease
I’ll make it quite comfortable, my hand here to squeeze
I’ll tell you just why, I feel as I do
and hopefully you’ll feel just like I get screwed

Seems all around me has quite turned to glass
there’s no way for me to know which is my ass
but I know which one’s yours, it sits in my chair
smiling right at me, uncompletely aware

You’ll smile till the last minute, shrew that you are
and tell me you love me while leaving your scar
but I’ll turn and bite you, sucking cunt bitch
you never thought I’d be the one who would switch

I’ll leave you, just sitting, alone in your chair
so that you and I will finally be able to live there
the place that we used to before you up shriveled
and maybe then I can stop all the drivel

so sit with me mum, and hold me right tight
I really don’t want to sleep alone tonite
I’m frightened and scared, and there’s no one else there
in the dark, when you seem so far out of sight

The stars are all shining away like they did
that night by my window when it was you first said
that dreams really did come true, cause I was born
so I hope you never looked down here in scorn
In my ashes, sweet ashes, of what used to be
that picture of you, smiling, just you and me.
